Mr Pogosyan, as the participant of all training sessions in local economic development, could you please share you impressions of the training?
I participated in all three trainings in local economic development that were organized by PLEDDG Project. They were interesting and useful for me, as I started working in the local government not long ago and would like to develop an effective and systematic approach to solving pressing issues.
I would like to express my gratitude to the organizers and trainers who have done a great job. Training course in LED was compiled in a smart way. All training participants, including myself, received a lot of knowledge. Thanks to that training program I identified the areas in my work that should be strengthened in order to facilitate the development of our city (ed. Vinnintsa), received a lot of information that can be applied in practice.
Especially, we will have to work actively on Vinnitsa branding. It is a serious work, because positioning of the city impacts its development. Also we would like to focus on the development of investment and innovations program, because in current economic situation job creation is the prerequisite of any city prosperity. We are planning to implement in our city everything we were told about at the training. On March 1, Managers of PLEDDG Project visited our city. We conducted first meeting of the Advisory Committee on Effective Governance and Project Development. I would like to mention that we treated seriously the organization of this meeting: invited the representatives of different non-governmental and charity organizations, managers, representatives of local businesses, mass media. In other words, people who are ready to work and be useful to their city, that are not interested in populism or PR.
