A well-known branding agency Fedoriv is to develop a city brand as part of the new marketing strategy of Vinnytsia.

The news was delivered today by Vitaliy Pogosyan, Director of Vinnytsia City Council’s Department of Economics and Investments, at the closing session of the task team working on the development of the Vinnytsia Marketing Strategy.

According to Vitaliy Pogosyan, the city brand would be developed in line with the task team’s groundwork. As a result of work of the team composed of 45 people who had been working for two years, over two thousand people were interviewed.

The survey was carried out both by means of direct questioning and a World Cafe method, as well as free discussions held at numerous events throughout two years within the framework of the strategy development.

The task team as such was made up of the representatives of businesses, authorities, NGOs, educational institutions, artists, and foreign experts. Following the words of Kadie Ward, Senior Governance Advisor to PLEDDG, a partner for implementation of the project, the development of Vinnytsia Marketing Strategy was “one of the most inclusive PLEDDG-implemented projects”.

During the survey, there were identified essential symbols of the city and the words linking to Vinnytsia. Thus, as a result of questioning the Ukrainians, the most frequent words were the following ones: “Fountain”, “Roshen”, “Petro Poroshenko”, “Museum of Pyrohov”, “European city”, “Water-tower”, “Cleanness”, “Volodymyr Groysman”, “tram”, and “comfort”.

As for the symbols of the city, there were recognized such essential ones as Water-tower (47%), fountain “Roshen” (19%), and Museum-estate of Pyrohov (10%).

As Vitaliy Pogosyan noted, the new brand “might be presented already in autumn”. The branding agency Fedoriv would provide the city with new comprehensive brand, logo, slogan of the brand, and brand book.

Fedoriv is one of the most famous Ukraine branding agencies working with international companies. The agency portfolio numbers such brands as “Oschadbank”, “Nova Poshta”, OLX, “Wine Time”, “Okean Elzy”, “Antoshka”, Rabota.ua, etc.

Fedoriv and PLEDDG signed a contract on the brand development, with its amount not subject to disclosure.
