Experts from NGO “PRAVO” had a meeting with representatives of the local youth who agreed to enroll in a training program and become city tour guides.

This idea is a component of the “Khmilnyk for Tourism: Breaking the Ground” project currently implemented in Khmilnyk.

In the framework of the project, 10 tour guides will be trained who will be then engaged in various activities during local holidays and festivals.

The participants of the today’s meeting discussed specific components of the training program, the most convenient days and hours for training sessions, and plans for further cooperation.

The first educational event is expected to take place in the near future.

The event took place within “Khmilnyk for Tourism: Breaking the Ground” project, which is implemented by Khmilnyk City Council in partnership with NGO “PRAVO” and with the financial support of the international technical aid project “Partnership for Local Economic Development and Democratic Governance” (PLEDDG) through its Democratic Governance and Development Initiatives Support Fund.

PLEDDG Project is implemented by the Federation of Canadian Municipalities (FCM) and funded by Global Affairs Canada.
