At a regular session of the Task Team on development of Myrhorod’s Marketing Strategy, a Draft Marketing Strategy of Myrhorod was presented, the detailed plan for implementation of the Strategy and approaches to visualizing of the city were discussed as well as the need to update Myrhorod’s brand.

On March 18, with Mayor Serhii Solomakha in attandance, a regular session of the Task team on development of Myrhorod’s Marketing Strategy took place. Promotion of the city, updating current logo, its design and brand building became an important part of the future document. The task team members pointed up the necessity to update official brand of Myrhorod as a resort town. They reasoned that the approved in 2012 brand of the city requires to be brought up to date, it was necessary to make it easy-to-use and interesting both for guests and investors. After a lively discussion of this development strategy area, PLEDDG experts showcased the Draft Marketing Strategy and discussed a detailed plan for its implementation. After a follow-up revision of the working version of the Strategy by the task team members, the document will be put before deputies and the session.

Summing up the results of the session, Natalia Hyrka, City Council Secretary, expressed gratitude to the experts for their assistance in developing the important document and expressed the hope that marketing measures provided for in the document would bring benefits to our community.
