SME-forum Poltava Biznesova took place in Poltava Art Gallery within the frames of the Second Industrial Week National initiative and with the support of PLEDDG.

As Inna Ischenko, Director of Department for Economic Development, Trade and Investment of Poltava Regional State Administration says, the objective of the forum is to encourage the use of effective approaches to increase competitive advantage of Poltava oblast enterprises and accelerate their industrial development supporting export activity.

The event gathered regional business community representatives from small and medium-sized enterprises, trade representatives of embassies, experts of international projects and institutions, representatives of local authorities (PLEDDG partner cities amalgamated territorial communities), representatives of chambers of commerce, local development institutions, and scientists.

Tetiana Yurchenko, Deputy Mayor for Executive Bodies Activity, also took part in the event. She pointed out the importance of the G2B cooperation in the development of city economy.


– Nowadays Poltava has more than 25 thousand of representatives of small and medium business, who really need assistance in their development, breakthrough or entering international markets. Our task is to provide such assistance. As a result, Poltava citizens will get new jobs, whereas the local budget will get additional income”.

The forum included three plenary sessions:

  • Poltava as Business-oriented Oblast: joint efforts create joint result.
  • Poltava as Unique Oblast: pitching of successful enterprises.
  • Poltava as Effective Oblast: instruments for local economic development.
