On January 2019, NGO “Center for Career Development “Professionals” is launching the project “Business Women’s Space” – a co-working center for support of social innovations, women entrepreneurship, and start-up companies”.

The project is being implemented in the framework of the “Project for development of small and medium-sized entrepreneurship in Zaporizhia for 2017-2021” and is aimed at achievement of priority objectives of the Program: improvement of the city’s business climate, provision of opportunities to show potential, development of information technologies, and support of innovative start-ups.

In the framework of the project, it has been planned to create the first, and the only one in Zaporizhia, a co-working center “BW Space” for women with children. Operation of the co-working center involves conducting training courses and programs, masterclasses, workshops on setting their businesses up, women’s business, online marketing tools, information technologies; mentorship for business activity, presentations of women entrepreneurship best cases, networking meetings for sharing experiences and involvement of various women-representatives of Zaporizhia business community, and a lot more. Creation of such space will help not only to reduce unemployment level, initiate and scale businesses of women and men participating in the events, but also to develop the city’s social infrastructure, promote small and medium businesses, in particular women businesses, in Zaporizhia.

The project “Business Women’s Space” – a co-working center for support of social innovations, women entrepreneurship, and start-up companies” is being implemented in partnership with NGO “Ukrainian Women” with support from the international technical aid project “Partnership for Local Economic Development and Democratic Governance” (PLEDDG Project), which is being implemented by the Federation of Canadian Municipalities (FCM) and funded by Global Affairs Canada.
