In her article, “Lessons on local economic development from Ukraine’s national revolution”, PLEDDG Senior Governance Advisor, Kadie Ward, reflects on her work providing consulting and mentorship to Ukrainian cities that are undergoing political and economic structural transformation. After witnessing one of Ukraine’s greatest national transformations, the Revolution of Dignity of 2014, Ms. Ward came up with three main rules that should be given heed to in developed economies.
