On March 28, 2018, the office of MU “Kremecnhuk Invest” held training on “Investment Project Preparation” as part of the project “Creating conditions for cooperation with investors through equipping the conference hall for business events”. The training was officially opened by Andrii Melnyk, Director of MU “Kremecnhuk Invest”, who took the opportunity to present a newly revamped conference hall featuring modern design and furniture – “The Prince Vytautas the Great International Call Center”, which was outfitted with the support of the Embassy of the Republic of Lithuania and PLEDDG Project. The event brought together representatives of structural units of the Executive Committee of Kremenchuk City Council (Department for Economy, Department for Social Security and ATO Issues, Education Department, Health Care Department, Energy Management Department, Center for Public Services Provision in Kremenchuk), representatives of the Torubary Central City Children’s Library, MU “Kremecnhukvodokanal”. MU “Kremenchuk Invest”, and representatives of NGOs (“The Kremenchuk Guild of Taxpayers of Ukraine”, “The Association of the Keremenchuk ATO Fighters and Veterans”).

The training was divided into mini-lectures on “What is Fundraising?”, “Basic Notions: Donor, Subject Subsidy, Target Subsidy, and Project”, “Grant Application Anatomy”, etc. Apart from that, in a simulation game, participants took on the role of donors and evaluated the projects they were given, as well as presented their own ideas as to the future projects, such as “Creation of 10 kW Capacity Solar Electric Plant for Private Residence”, “Chytai Misto – the Format Doesn’t Matter”, “Organization of Free Bike Sharing as Promotion of Healthy Lifestyles and СО2 Reduction”, “The Center of Advise for Small and Medium Entrepreneurs”, etc.
