The 9-day raining on local economic development, conducted by PLEDDG experts together with the Center for retraining and advanced training for the representatives of public authorities, local governments, state enterprises, institutions and organizations was conducted in Zaporizhia oblast.
The professional training program was established within PLEDDG framework funded by Global Affairs Canada in cooperation with National Academy for Public Administration under The President of Ukraine and agreed with the National Agency of Ukraine for Civil Service.
Local coaches and lecturers of the National Academy for Public Administration under The President of Ukraine were also involved in the training.
The training program allowed Zaporizhia civil servants and local government officials to master their skills in the following areas:
- open democratic governance;
- strategic planning;
- marketing and branding of territories;
- development of small and medium enterprises;
- investment activities.
According to the results of the nine-day training, PLEDDG experts summarized training outcomes and awarded certificates to the participants.
