On May 12, 2020, a webinar “Public Budgeting Under COVID-19 Conditions” was held with the support of PLEDDG and PAUCI Foundation. Over 50 representatives of local governments, schools and public organizations took part in the event.
Quarantine restrictions have affected all spheres of public life. Due to that communities faced challenges of funding public budgeting programs, choosing the best channels for informing residents, and communicating with authors and stakeholders.
During the webinar, participants shared their experience in responding to the current situation and received expert advice on the most important issues of implementing public budgeting projects under the quarantine conditions.
Among the key topics discussed during the online training were the main problems and challenges of implementing public budgeting programs, communication of important decisions, and further implementation of projects.
