In the framework of Partnership for Local Economic Development and Democratic Governance Project, on March 16-17, Project experts conducted training “Project proposals preparation for getting funding from State Fund for Regional Development” for the local governance representatives in Poltava oblast.
Representatives of local governments in Poltava oblast leaned how to prepare innovative projects, calculated budget expenses and learned how to resolve existing problems and meet communities’ needs with the help of the projects.
The trainer – Vasyl Kashevskyi – told about peculiarities of preparation of certain elements of a project.
The participants of the training learned about the Fund’s procedures, how to formulate the objective and tasks of the project, assess the needs, describe measures planned within the project, prepare the schedules and budget of the project.
In the end of the training the participants thanked the organizers for new knowledge, answers to all their questions and understanding they’ve got as to the way forward in the framework of reform and decentralization.
We would like to remind, that resources of State Fund for Regional Development are allocated for the implementation of investment programs and regional development projects, including the projects of cooperation and amalgamation of territorial communities. By the end of March 2016 all willing communities will have an opportunity to prepare interesting project and compete for funding.
