On October 27, 2017, Ivano-Frankivsk with the support of PLEDDG Project hosted the International Investment and Economic Forum “Partnership and Prospects”.

The event was aimed at fostering Ivano-Frankivsk’s investment attractiveness through attraction of foreign investments and modern technologies, an increase in the production volumes and export of local products, facilitation of the development of international scientific and technical cooperation, and creation of new jobs.

“This is already the third forum.Wwe’ll review what we’ve achieved in social and economic development. Our main task is to present the development strategy to our potential investors. The main thing for us is job creation. Here at the forum we have representatives of various European countries”, – says Bogdan Bilyk, Deputy Mayor of Ivano-Frankivsk, who is in charge of economic issues.

Also, Mr Bilyk mentions that the city the highest per capita international investment attraction indicator –2,000 $ among other oblast centers.

“Our main ambition is the development of IT and transportation sectors, as well as the strengthening of existing enterprises”, – added Mr. Bilyk.

 “Ivano-Frankivsk has a lot to offer, in particular the successful experience of investments attraction in various economic sectors. We have a lot to hope for, as investment potential and comfort of our city are out of any doubt. The main task of this year’s forum is to present Ivano-Frankivsk development strategy for the next 10 years. We developed it together with PLEDDG Project, taking into account the opinions of experts and the general public”, – said Mayor of Ivano-Frankivsk Ruslan Martsynkiv.

“Our investors should know what to expect from the city in the near future, in which direction it will be developing”, – he added.

 By the way, the residents of the city are the major investors into Ivano-Frankivsk infrastructure.  They constantly invest into the well-being of their city by co-funding different programs. And I am extremely grateful to each and every one for that.
