The series of practical training seminars on the use of the Prozorro.Sale system for the representatives of local authorities, media and public activists were held in Zaporizhia.
The training was organized by Partnership for Local Economic Development and Democratic Governance (PLEDDG) Project, which is implemented by the Federation of Canadian Municipalities with the financial support of the Global Affairs Canada, in partnership with Prozorro.Sales. The main goal is to raise public awareness about the effective management and ownership of municipal property.
The Head of the Department of Foreign Affairs and economic activity of the Oblast State Administration Artur Boyko welcomed the participants.
“The training is useful for a wide range of audiences, because now the electronic trading system “Prozorro. Sales” is used by many Ukrainians in their work. You always organize events that are aimed not only at improving the level of public services, but also at sharing the best experience among representatives of non-governmental organizations. I believe that openness and transparency, which is the most important thing when working in the system, are very important for the development of our territories. The topics of the seminars prepared by the specialists are easily understood, useful and important “, the official said.
PLEDDG Project Regional Coordinator in Zaporizhia Svetlana Kruglyak noted that today Prozorro is the best online public procurement platform, so it is very important to know how such a powerful service works.
During the trainings the experts focused on the following issues: how to fill local budgets and increase the revenues through Prozorro. Sale; what are the key tools for asset management; how does Prozzoro. Sale work etc.
As a result of the training, an active discussion of the new material was held. So, now participants will have a clear understanding of how the electronic trading system Prozorro. Sales works, which assets can be sold through an electronic trading system. Participants received a road map for the implementation of the Prozorro. Sale ETS in their community and are now familiar with additional tools for filling local budgets using Prozorro. Sale, in particular from the leasing of property, the sale of advertising rights and rights for placement of seasonal trade.
