On April 20, 2016, PLEDDG Steering Committee meeting was held in Kyiv. During the meeting, the PLEDDG Progress Report for 2015-2016 was presented and the Action Plan for 2016 – 2017 was approved.

The objective of the round table was to exchange knowledge and experience of SME support in Ukraine, Canada and EU, develop effective methodology and tools for business development at the local and regional levels, and create opportunities for cooperation between SME experts.

In February 2016, PLEDDG held its third and final training session for representatives of local government bodies from PLEDDG partner cities.

January 20-22, 2016, in Pushcha-Vodytsia, PLEDDG Project conducted the second training session on the topic of local economic development (LED) with representatives of local government authorities of PLEDDG partner cities.

December 23, 2015, in Poltava city, PLEDDG Project signed Memoranda of Cooperation (MOC) with Poltava Oblast State Administration and Poltava oblast council. Memoranda were also signed with 4 partner cities of the Project in that oblast, namely Poltava, Kremenchuk, Komsomolsk, and Myrhorod.

December 22, 2015, in the city of Zaporizhia, signing of Memoranda of Cooperation (MOC) between PLEDDG Project and Zaporizhia Oblast State Administration, Zaporizhia oblast council, and 4 partner cities of the Project in Zaporizhia oblast (Zaporizhia, Melitopol, Berdiansk, and Energodar) took place.

December 18, 2015, in Ivano-Frankivsk, PLEDDG signed Memoranda on Cooperation (MOC) with Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast State Administration, Ivano-Frankivsk oblast council and 4 partner cities in Ivano-Frankivsk oblast (Ivano-Frankivsk, Dolyna, Yaremche and Kolomyia) and launched cooperation for the region development.

December 17, 2015, PLEDDG Project officially started working in Vinnytsia oblast having signed the Memoranda of Cooperation (MOC) with partner cities and Oblast State Administration.

On December 10, 2015, in Kyiv (Pushcha-Vodytsia), the first training session on a topic of local economic development (LED) was conducted for representatives of local self-government bodies of PLEDDG partner cities.

With the purpose of enhancing of its own methodology of economic development strategic planning, PLEDDG Project conducted a three-day workshop on strategic planning for Ukrainian community development on November 24-26.
