PLEDDG Project has selected 16 cities from 4 oblasts of Ukraine which have become the Project partners. We are proud to announce our new program partners

During October 22-23, the 3rd City Development Institutions Forum took place in Kryvyi Rih under support of PLEDDG Project. It was dedicated to the subject of small and medium business support and development.

On September 30, 2015, in Kyiv, the constitutive meeting of the Program Steering Committee (PSC) officially launched the implementation of the project of international technical assistance “Partnership for Local Economic Development and Democratic Governance” (PLEDDG Project).

In May 2015, PLEDDG launched a competitive process to select cities to participate in their new project. 26 cities responded to the call for applications. Following a rigorous objective review of the applications, 24 cities were short-listed for further evaluation.

June 1-8, 2015 PLEDDG hosted its first study tour to Canada. The purpose of the trip was to familiarize PLEDDG partners with Canadian models, and the best practices in local economic development, strategic planning, municipal marketing, and territorial branding, and attraction of investments and business support.
