With support from PLEDDG Project, in 2017 the city of Kolomyia is launching a participatory budgeting program, which will make it possible for Kolomyia residents to have their say in how part of a municipal budget will be spent. Kolomyia City Council produced and presented a short video clip about participatory budgeting in the city

On January 16, 2017, the Working Group on Dolyna Subregion Development Strategy had a working meeting. Over 40 people attended the meeting, among them representatives from 12 villages that will unite to form a unified territorial community (hromada) in 2017

Sociological research on how Vinnytsia is perceived by people was conducted by PLEDDG experts between 25 September and 20 October. The survey involved people from all over Ukraine, except Vinnytsia’s residents. According to PLEDDG consultant Andriy Nahornyy, the purpose of the survey was to identify some trends related to public perception of the city rather than obtain accurate information about the city itself.

On October 27, 2016, Kolomyia Economic Development Association hosted a working meeting of PLEDDG experts with Kolomyia entrepreneurs. The meeting was attended by about twenty business representatives, who managed to find a slot in their tight schedules and come share their experience and problems they encounter in their daily business activity. Among the participants, there were also media representatives and members of AEDK.
