Training for the representatives of amalgamated territorial communities was conducted in Poltava, where they learned how to apply for and get funds from the state. From developing the project ideas to the technical process of payment from the Fund for Regional Development.

In the building of the Oblast State Administration, interviews with Heads of the Oblast State Administration departments and focus groups with representatives of public organizations, business and investors were conducted on March 15, as part of the Partnership for Local Economic Development and Democratic Governance (PLEDDG).

On March 10, 2016, a focus group was conducted in the office of Regional Development Department of Vinnytsia Oblast State Administration, with the support of the international technical assistance project «Partnership for Local Economic Development and Democratic Governance» (PLEDDG Project).

On March 3, 2016, a constitutive meeting of the Advisory Committee on Democratic Governance and Local Economic Development, established to implement the PLEDDG Project, took place in Zhmerynka.

Based on the selection results, as was previously reported by “Halychina”, Dolyna was selected as a participant of the technical assistance project “Partnership for Local Economic Development and Democratic Governance”, which will be implemented by the Federation of Canadian Municipalities (FCM) and funded by Canadian Government till the end of 2020 for 16 cities of Ivano-Frankivsk, Vinnitsa, Zaporizhia and Poltava oblasts. And on December 18, this year Mr. Volodymyr Garazd, Mayor of Dolyna signed the Memorandum of Cooperation with Canadian International Technical Assistance Project – PLEDDG.

PLEDDG Project implementation commenced in Myrgorod in the framework of “Partnership for Local Economic Development and Democratic Governance” Program (PLEDDG). Myrgorod was selected in the result of competition among other Ukrainian cities.

Over 300 ideas and projects were submitted for the Regional Development Strategy of Zaporizhia Oblast.
