Last year a hub for NGOs opened at Pushkina Street in Vinnytsia, mostly known as “HubVinnytsia” or NGO-Hub. Very soon the hub will have an official name and its own brand.

Today, Zaporizhia City Council has hosted an official signing of the Memorandum of Cooperation between Zaporizhia city authorities, deputy corps, and public sector with the international technical assistance project PLEDDG Project within PLEDDG SME Development Support Fund.

Today Zaporizhia is hosting Eco-Forum – 2018, the II Specialized International Ecological Forum. It is held on the premises of “Cossack-Palace” Exhibition Centre from May 30 until June 1, 2018. The official opening of the forum was attended by city mayor Volodymyr Buriak, representatives of regional authorities, experts etc.

On May 24, 2018, Vinnytsia City Council hosted the final meeting of the working group on the development of the Vinnytsia Marketing Strategy. At the meeting, the draft version of the future strategy for promotion of Vinnytsia both across Ukraine and worldwide was presented.

A well-known branding agency Fedoriv is to develop a city brand as part of the new marketing strategy of Vinnytsia.

On May 10-11б 2018, Kremenchuk hosted the international business forum “International Cooperation: Building the Future Together”. The organizers of the Forum were Kremenchuk City Council, MU “Kremecnhuk Invest”, “Partnership for Local Economic Development” Project (PLEDDG), Poltava and Cherkasy Chambers of Commerce and Industry, and Vilnius Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Crafts.

An advisory business center “Business Support and Development Academy” will be opened in Vinnytsia for local small and medium-sized businesses. The Academy is expected to begin operating on the basis of the Vinnytsia technological park by the end of this year.

On April 20, 2018, Vinnytsia hosted special guests – representatives of a Canadian municipality and experts of PLEDDG Project. Together with Vinnytsia municipal experts, they discussed the results of implementation of the “Meaningful City: a Space for Communication and Participation” project.

Myrhorod Mayor, Serhiy Solomakha, signed a project implementation agreement with PLEDDG Project which would see the introduction of a low power FM-radio service. This low power FM-radio service will serve as a media instrument for increasing the openness of local government and meeting information needs of Myrhorod’s residents
