On October 27, 2017, Ivano-Frankivsk with the support of PLEDDG Project hosted the International Investment and Economic Forum “Partnership and Prospects”.

On October 26-27, 2017, in Kyiv, a training course in local economic development organized by PLEDDG Project in cooperation with the NGO “Mayors Club” was held.

A study tour to Poland took place on October 22-28, 2017, within the framework of PLEDDG Project and in partnership with the Polish Solidarity Fund. Representatives of local governments from PLEDDG partner cities who are in charge of administrative services and Administrative Service Centers were invited to take part in the study tour

On October 16-21, 2017, a second study tour to Poland was organized in order to learn Polish experience of the implementation of public budget initiatives. Among the participants were representatives of local governments and public activists from Mykolaiv, Dolyna, Energodar, Bila Tserkva, Myrhorod and Bilozirsk amalgamated territorial communities

On August 10, 2017, the first meeting of Vinnytsia City Council took place, during which participants discussed an action plan and analyzed undertaken activities. The Investment Attraction Program is implemented with support from Partnership for Local Economic Development and Democratic Governance Project (PLEDDG), which is implemented by the Federation of Canadian Municipalities (FCM) and financed by Canadian government.

On July 20-21, NGO “Mayors’ Club” together with Partnership for Local Economic Development and Democratic Governance Project (PLEDDG) organized a training course in local economic development for mayors and deputy mayors of 35 cities and towns from 17 regions of Ukraine.

Recently PLEDDG Project has organized two round-table meetings in Khmilnyk, which were focused on relations between the government and non-governmental organizations & media.

The seminar “Participatory Budget: an Instrument for Securing a Dialogue within the Community” was held for Drohobych activists by professional experts of PAUCI in participatory budgeting on June 21–23.

According to Vinnytsia City Council, the “Programme for Business Competitiveness of Vinnytsia’s Small and Medium Enterprises 2017−2020”, which has been adopted this year, is bound to become a major breakthrough among similar business programs nationwide.
