NGO-hub in Vinnytsia is the platform for active dialogue between representatives of local government, business and non-governmental organizations aimed at coordinated handling of local issues, and also the place for generation, support and implementation of social innovations.

As part of PLEDDG Project, Vinnytsia has recently hosted a training session on city economic development for officials of the Economy and Investment Department of Vinnytsia City Council and representatives of local utility companies. The first part of the session, held on March 16-17, 2018, was arranged by the PLEDDG team at the premises of a new Civil Society Institute Support Center, or Hub, – a futuristically styled creative area.

On March 14, 2018, PLEDDG Project jointly with Ukraine Investment Promotion Office “UkraineInvest” held the V All-Ukrainian City Development Institutions Forum (CDIForum2018), which was dedicated to investment activity and city development institutions.

From February 18 to February 24, 2018, in partnership with the Polish Solidarity Fund and with the support of the Government of Canada, PLEDDG Project led a study tour to Poland for representatives of local governments, business associations and small and medium-sized businesses from partner cities. The purpose of the study tour was to get familiar with the realities of Polish reforms and best practices in social entrepreneurship and women’s business.
