On February 26, 2019, a meeting of the Zhmerynka 2030 Development Strategy Working Group took place in Zhmerynka. The Working Group was created in the framework of PLEDDG Project’s cooperation with Zhmerynka authorities, with the aim of elaborating a city development strategy for Zhmerynka.

On February 21, 2019, Kyiv hosted a training session on investment topic, which welcomed the participation of the First Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine Stepan Kubiv, Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine, Minister of Regional Development, Building and Housing and Communal Services of Ukraine Hennadii Zubko, State Institution “Investment Promotion Office”, representatives of central and regional public bodies, experts, foreign partners, and businesses.

The project " Social Engagement of People with Disabilities" was initiated by public organization "Harmony" last year. Then the center opened nail salon "Dandelion", where girls in wheelchairs Julia Vorovska and Natalia Vydaiko are now working. Lyudmila Kapelista who knits doilies and toys and makes beaded jewelry also joined the project. And now people with disabilities are assisted in mastering the occupation of barista.

Baristas, manicurists, handicrafts masters. You can get these professions in the city Rehabilitation Center "Harmony". The project "Social Engagement of People with Disabilities" is implemented with the financial support of PLEDDG. The manager of the social project Lyudmila Netskina says the goal is to provide employment for people with disabilities.

On February 13, a session of the Committee on management of the implementation of the Poltava Strategy, created in the framework of PLEDDG Project, took place. The session brought together the city’s managers, PLEDDG Project experts, city council deputies, managers of administrations and executive committee departments, specialists from MC “City Development Institute”, and public activists.

On February 11, a formal meeting took place in the framework of the project “City Information Booklets as an Instrument for Improving a City Image”, implemented by the Ladyzhyn Local Economic Development Agency with support from the Federation of Canadian Municipalities (FCM), which is implementing the “Partnership for Local Economic Development and Democratic Governance” (PLEDDG Project).

Today, Zaporizhia Chamber of Commerce and Industry hosted a meeting of the Advisory Committee on efficiency of governance and development for implementation of the Project “Partnership for Local Economic Development and Democratic Governance” in Zaporizhia. The main objective of the session was to discuss results of the implementation of initiatives and projects implemented in Zaporizhia with PLEDDG support.
