Kremenchuk Actively Cooperates with PLEDDG Project
On December 19th, 2018, the Executive Committee of Kremenchuk City Council held an extended meeting of the Advisory Committee on Effective Governance and Development, which was created to ensure implementation of PLEDDG Project in Kremenchuk. The meeting was dedicated to the sustainability of the efforts within PLEDDG Project. The meeting was attended by First Deputy Mayor Volodymyr Pelypenko, PLEDDG Director Oleksandr Kucherenko, PLEDDG Senior Governance Advisor Kadie Ward, PLEDDG Senior Expert, Head of Experts Group Ihor Lepyoshkin, PLEDDG consultant Andrii Zaluznyi, active city residents.
Ukrainian National Academy of Public Administration and Federation of Canadian Municipalities Sign a Memorandum of Cooperation
On December 12, 2018, the President of the National Academy of Public Administration Vasyl Kuibida and Director of PLEDDG Project Oleksandr Kucherenko signed a Memorandum of Cooperation between the National Academy of Public Administration under The President of Ukraine and Federation of Canadian Municipalities.
Myrhorod Citizens Create a New Image for their City
On November 28th, a working meeting on “City Branding Projects” took place in PLEDDG partner city Myrhorod. At the meeting, which was held in the open space format, participants generated ideas for city visualization by various target audiences. The participants were tasked with “growing” the image of Myrhorod through projects ideas that would underpin the city’s marketing strategy. In their creative process the participants were assisted by PLEDDG consultants.
Program for Enhancement of SMEs Competitive Advantage Adopted in Berdiansk
Berdiansk SMEs competitive advantage enhancement for 2019-2021 program was adopted at a regular session of the city council. While developing the Program, local potential, regional and national priorities, as well as European and worldwide trends in small entrepreneurship development were mapped out and considered.
Training & Development Center Opens in Horishni Plavni as part of Municipal Program to Promote Local Products in Foreign Markets
Yesterday, in Horishni Plavni, the Training & Development Center of the Association of Small and Medium Exporters was officially opened as part of the municipal program on promotion of local products in foreign markets.
The Center was created at the initiative of the Civil Union “Association of Small and Medium Exporters”, with the aim to diversify activities of Horishni Plavni garment manufacturers by reorienting production and retraining staff.
