On June 13, Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast State Administration hosted the first meeting of the investment profile working group to discuss development of an investment profile for Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast.

A strategic plan for Kolomyia’s development has been successfully finished. The document was created by Kolomyia City Council with the support of PLEDDG Project. The final document contains more than a hundred pages and covers a period of 10 years until 2027. By 2027, Kolomyia is envisaged to become a regional economic and tourist center of the Subcarpathian region with a high quality sustainable urban environment. Those two goals were assigned top priority in a new development strategy .

PLEDDG Project tries to ensure that environmental aspects are incorporated into all PLEDDG activities, from planning to implementation of each initiative and project undertaken within the framework of PLEDDG. The incorporation of environmental aspects is aimed at ensuring sustainable development of Project’s partner cities. PLEDDG Project, in cooperation with the Heinrich Böll Foundation in Ukraine, has initiated strategic environmental assessment (SEA) of the Khmilnyk Subregion Tourism Development Strategy. On May 10, 2017, a meeting of the Working Group on SEA for Khmilnyk Subregion Tourism Development Strategy took place in Khmilnyk City Council

On March 7, Kyiv City State Administration hosted a meeting between the President of FCM, Clark Somerville, the Ambassador of Canada to Ukraine, Roman Waschuk PLEDDG experts, and Vitali Klitschko, the Head of Association of Ukrainian Cities. On January 31, 2017, the Working Group on Zaporizhia Development Strategy gathered to discuss current progress. During the meeting, PLEDDG consultants presented materials for Zaporizhia Development Strategy and Draft Report on Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA)
